About Ashin Aniruddha

Ashin Aniruddha was born in Htee Lin Township, in Magway Division, Myanmar in 1978 and fully ordained on March 4, 2001. He studiesd from1994 to 1996 at the Visudhayon Monastery in Bahan Yangon, from 1996 to 2000 at the Tipitaka Mahagandayon Monastery in Yangon, from 2001 to 2005 at the Nyaungtone Moanstery in Yangon, from 2005 to 2010 at the Pincanikaya Monastery in Yangon, and from 2010 to 2011 at the Mettananda Vihara in Yangon. He holds the Samanekyaw, Sasanadhaja Dhammacariya, Vinaya Vidu, and Inguttaranikaya Vidu degrees. He came to the United States and to the Sitagu Buddha Vihara in 2012.
